How Do I Clear My Browser's Cache in Google Chrome?

The steps below can be used to clear your browser's cache and cookies if you are working in Google Chrome.

Steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. At the top right of your browser screen next to the address bar, click on the icon with three horizontal dashes.
  3. Click on "Settings" in the drop-down menu.
  4. Click on the "Show advanced settings..." link at the bottom of the page.
  5. Under the "Privacy" header, click on the "Clear browsing data..." button.
  6. In the pop-up window, make sure that "Cookies and other site and plugin data" and "Cached images and files" are selected. You may select any other items you wish to clear.
  7. Click on the "Clear browsing data" button.
  8. Close and re-open Google Chrome.

After you have followed the steps above, your browser's cache has been cleared and you are ready to continue with your work in Decision Lens.

The steps below can be used to clear your browser's cache and cookies if you are working in Internet Explorer 9, 10, or 11.

Steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the gear icon at the top right of your browser.
  3. Click on "Internet Options" in the drop-down menu.
  4. Click on "Delete" in the "Browsing history" section.
  5. In the pop-up window, make sure that "Temporary Internet Files" and "Cookies" are selected. You may select any other items you wish to clear.
  6. Click on the "Delete" button.
  7. Close and re-open Internet Explorer.

  3. Click the "History" icon in the drop-down menu.
  4. Click on the "Clear Recent History" option at the top of the drop-down menu.
  5. Make sure that "Cookies" and "Cache" are selected. (If you are on a Mac, you may need to click on the "Details" button to see these additional options.)
  6. Click on the "Clear Now" button.
  7. Close and re-open Mozilla Firefox.
